About
Same county, same trade, since 1988.
An independent electrical contractor that grew by taking on the jobs nobody else wanted to coordinate — and then learning to design them as well as install them.

How the work changed
The company began with straightforward installation: distribution boards, small power, lighting circuits. What followed was a steady diversification driven by clients rather than strategy — a fire alarm here, access control there, then a data backbone, then the lighting design to go with it.
Holding all of it under one roof changed how we price and programme work. Containment is coordinated once. Interfaces between fire, security and building controls are agreed before anyone is on site. And when something needs fixing two years later, the people who installed it are still here.
A short history
1988
The company starts
Founded in West Sussex as an electrical contracting firm working on local commercial and industrial installations.
1990s
Beyond power and lighting
Clients begin asking for fire detection, emergency lighting and security on the same contract, so those disciplines are brought in-house rather than sub-let.
2000s
Bigger venues, tighter access
Work shifts towards occupied and public buildings — theatres, arenas, attractions and hospitals — where phasing around opening hours matters as much as the installation itself.
Today
Design, install, maintain
An in-house design office produces drawings, calculations and 3D visuals, with BIM-ready output for contractors who need it. Head office remains in Three Bridges.
In-house design
Drawn before it is installed.
Our design office produces layouts, illuminance calculations, containment routes and schematics in CAD, and renders schemes in 3D so clients can see a space before committing to it.
That capability is being extended towards full BIM coordination, so our models drop into the wider design team’s federated model instead of sitting alongside it as a PDF.
